Nanuet EMS Standby for Town of Clarkstown Annual Fireworks Display

By Line Officer Eric Roemish
July 2, 2018

On Monday, July 2nd, 2018, Nanuet EMS stood by at the Town of Clarkstown Annual Fireworks Display at the Nanuet High School. Members met at the station earlier in the day to discuss where resources will be placed, and recite our plans and procedures in case of emergency. All 4 of our ambulances were present, fully staffed, and placed strategically in case they had to respond to emergencies within our response area, and walking crews were mobilized throughout the field to assist with any walk-up medical emergencies. With Chief Dunlavey acting as EMS Incident Command, and Asst. Chief Delgado acting as EMS Operations Chief, all emergency services present at the detail were able to operate efficiently and the event concluded without incident. We would like to thank all of our members that were with us for the detail, as well as outside agencies that assisted, and thank you to everyone that stopped by to say hi! We hope everyone enjoys their holiday.
